Brad Carter was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee and relocated to Seattle in 2005.

Brad is a reformed rock climber that took up
bluegrass when he realized it was a lot more fun than scarring yourself to death on a mountainside. He also plays in another Seattle bluegrass group, King County Hay Ride.
